Bhoot Bangla Box Office: Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan’s horror comedy adds Rs 3.75 crore on second Tuesday, crosses Rs 115 crore mark

Bhoot Bangla raised Rs. Collected. Earning around Rs 3.75 crore on second Tuesday. There was a 15 percent jump in comparison to Monday, which could have been a little more. The total gross of the Akshay Kumar starrer now stands at Rs. 115.75 crore net approx, out of which Rs. Nearly Rs 35 crore has been earned in five days of the second week. The entire second week is expected to exceed Rs. 40 crores nett.

The film is a hit, still on its way to earning crores of rupees. 150 crore nett final, but now perhaps it is getting closer than it was yesterday when it seemed to be hovering there. A lot will depend on how well the third week goes. The third week is practically an open week in the Hindi circuit, although Maharashtra will see very stiff competition from the Marathi film, Raja Shivaji. There may be some performance issues, although the impact will be minimal at this time. Bhoot Bangla has offered “buy one get one”, which probably could have been avoided, but has been done by the distributor to counter the new competition as the other party is trying for aggressive performance.

Akshay Kumar has gone through a period of poor performance at the box office after the pandemic. Last year was somewhat better, three films did well even though they were not hits, and now we finally have a hit film. When Akshay Kumar is having a good time, the industry is having a good time. He may not pay big money. Movies that earn Rs 500 crore, but if one can get two or three hits or successful films in a year, then it is equally important, because that keeps the box office running. This is something where Akshay Kumar stands out, because except Ajay Devgan, the output of others in the industry is quite low, some of them take two or three years for a film. The box office in India is star-driven; If the leading stars are not bringing out the films regularly then it cannot be in a good position.

The box office collections of Bhoot Bangla in India are as follows:

Day net
week one Rupee. 80.50 crores.

second friday Rupee. 5.50 crores.
second saturday Rupee. 10.75 crores.
second sunday Rupee. 12.00 crores.
second monday Rupee. 3.25 crores.
second tuesday Rupee. 3.75 crores.

Total Rupee. 115.75 crores.
