Prabhas recently hit the big screen with the horror-comedy The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi. Now, it appears that the actor will resume shooting for Fauji soon after returning from Italy this weekend.
Prabhas to rejoin Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauji sets this week?
According to a report in Telugu Chitralu, Prabhas is currently holidaying in Italy. The actor is expected to return this weekend and is likely to rejoin the shooting of Fauji soon after. It is said that a major portion of the film has already been completed on a huge set specially built for the period action drama.
After completing the shooting of Fauji, the actor is expected to begin the initial schedule of Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2, after which he will resume filming for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit.
According to the report, the period actioner is expected to release around Dussehra or November 2026. Initially, the makers had planned to release the film on Independence Day this year, but the final release date will now depend on the completion of the shooting.
However, all these details are speculations right now and will only be confirmed by the manufacturers.

Fauji is an upcoming period epic starring Prabhas in the lead role. The film stars the actor as a soldier of the Azad Hind Force and presents an alternate, fictional retelling of historical events.
The film will star internet sensation Imanvi in the lead role, starring veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada and Anupam Kher in lead roles.

Prabhas was last seen in the lead role in The Raja Saab. Directed by Maruthi, the horror-comedy film revolves around the story of Raja and his rivalry with his late grandfather, an evil spirit residing in a mansion.
Apart from the Saaho actor, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar and others in lead roles. The film received an overwhelming response from both critics and audiences upon its release.
Looking ahead, Rebel star will headline the police action drama Spirit directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. With Trupti Dimri in the co-lead role, the film will release on March 5, 2027.
