Day 83 of ‘Bigg Boss 19’ was marked by immediate friction after the captaincy task. Gaurav Khanna struggled to delegate duties under his new captaincy, leading to discord among the housemates, who were already angry that he sacrificed 70 percent of his ration to secure the position. Captaincy under criticism

The episode starts with Malti Chahar and Amaal Malik discussing the controversial decision of Gaurav Khanna to take the captaincy. Soon after, Gaurav called the housemates to assign the tasks, but Tanya Mittal and Farhana Bhatt immediately disobeyed his orders and refused to cooperate in the duty distribution.

After the disturbance, Bigg Boss called all the members in the assembly room and questioned whether they were disappointed with the offer given to Gaurav Khanna. To address the growing disagreement, the show’s producers later challenged the contestants to vote to oust Gaurav and make Shehbaz the new captain in his place.

Ultimately, most of the housemates voted against Gaurav Khanna and chose Shehbaz Badesha as the new captain; Only Praneet More and Ashnoor Kaur supported Gaurav. With this change, Shehbaz was granted security, while Gaurav joined the list of contestants nominated for elimination.

Apology and allegations

Frustrated with the quick decision of the housemates, Gaurav expressed his feelings to Praneet and Ashnoor in the bathroom area. Meanwhile, Amal advised Shehbaz not to feel guilty on becoming the new captain.

The tension continued when Gaurav told Shehbaz that he was still waiting for an apology for the harsh words he used against him earlier. Feeling remorseful, Shahbaz immediately apologized to Gaurav. Subsequently, Gaurav talks to Praneet, saying that Malti has betrayed him by “flopping” her vote in the assembly chamber.

Later that day, Bigg Boss assigned a sponsorship task to the housemates, which they completed with ease. Tanya eventually declared one of the competing teams the winner.
