Bassist Mohini Dey finally breaks her silence on link-up rumors with ace musician AR Rahman. He shared a video on Instagram denying the rumors and described him as a father figure. Mohini said she worked with AR Rahman as bassist for 8.5 years until he moved to America five years ago. She has been associated with several pop artists in the US over the years. Mohini also requested everyone to be kind Because this is their personal matter.

Mohini claimed that she finally had time to address these rumors after the completion of her tour. In the video, she told how Rehman is younger than her father and how she and Rehman’s daughters are of the same age.

Captioning the video, he wrote, “It is completely unbelievable to see the misinformation and baseless assumptions/claims against me and @arrahman. I have many role models and father figures in my life who have played an important role in my career and upbringing. Name some of them- My father who taught me everything about music (whom I lost a year ago) and then @ranjitbarot1 who introduced me to the industry, @louizbanksofficial who shaped me and @arrahman who taught me his musical arrangements during his shows and recording sessions.
