teaser of Monkey The film starring Bobby Deol has been unveiled, offering a deep and entertaining glimpse into the troubled life of Samar, a fading television star whose life changes after a serious accusation. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the upcoming crime thriller explores fame, fall and public scrutiny through its intense first teaser.

The official teaser begins with a 90s retro-themed score as Samar walks across a stage, seemingly trying to maintain her fading stardom. The actor, once a famous face, is now struggling to stay relevant while leading a turbulent personal life.

The teaser also introduces Samar’s ex-girlfriend, Gayatri, played by Sapna Pabbi, who wants to reconnect with him. However, things begin to fall apart when Samar starts seeing a young woman, Khushi, portrayed by Saba Azad. Soon, Samar’s world is ruined after she is accused of rape.

The teaser shows glimpses of his arrest, public humiliation and time spent inside the police station and jail. It ends on a scary note with Bobby Deol’s character smiling with a broken tooth, hinting at the darker turns his journey will take after the allegations.

Sanya Malhotra appears as Samar’s supportive sister, who stands by him during his difficult times.

Written by Sudeep Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee, the film is reportedly inspired by a real-life incident. It is the story of Summer, an aging television star on the verge of losing relevance, whose life becomes more complicated when her ex-partner re-enters her world.
