The untimely death of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui has shocked the country. Last night, a political personality was shot dead by unknown assailants in Mumbai’s Bandra area. After hearing the news, Salman Khan reached Lilavati Hospital late at night to console Siddiqui’s family and was seen quite shocked by the incident.
The Sikander actor arrived in his black Range Rover wearing a light blue T-shirt. When he came to meet the politician’s family, his photograph was clicked in which he looked emotional and distressed.

Salman Khan had a close relationship with Baba Siddiqui and was a regular attendee of Siddiqui’s famous annual Iftar celebrations, which often attracted some of the biggest names in Bollywood.
Relations between Salman and the Siddiqui family have always been strong, with the actor often attending their social functions and events.
After hearing the news, Bollywood celebrities like Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty-Raj Kundra and Shikhar Pahadia reached Lilavati Hospital.
On October 12, Baba Siddiqui was shot in the stomach and chest during an attack while he was leaving his son Zeeshan Siddiqui’s MLA office in Bandra, Mumbai. After being shot six times, the former political leader was immediately taken to hospital, but tragically died that night.
According to NDTV report, two suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting. The arrested persons are from Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, while the third attacker is still absconding.
According to the latest report of ANI, Baba Siddiqui was shot near Colgate Ground in Nirmal Nagar, Bandra, Mumbai. Crime scene footage showed the broken window of his SUV.
PTI also reported that security has been beefed up outside Lilavati Hospital following the tragic death of the political leader.
Police confirmed that the attackers fired two to three rounds at Siddiqui. Known for hosting lavish Iftar parties, Siddiqui had gained considerable prestige in political circles. Earlier this year, he left the Congress party and aligned himself with Ajit Pawar’s faction of the NCP.
