Ayushmann Khurrana has already proved his worth as a skilled actor by giving many hit films. But in the last few years, he has also established himself as a famous singer and artist. Currently, the artist is touring the US, leaving his fans spellbound with his soulful voice. But he did not forget to give credit to Arijit Singh for giving him his first live singing performance in front of more than fifty thousand people in America.
While talking to IANS, Ayushmann Khurrana said that he always considered himself a good actor who can sing for films. But the thought of performing on stage in front of thousands of people never crossed his mind as he always felt that he was more of an actor than a singer. The actor-singer said, “The credit goes to Arijit Singh for doing my first musical performance.”
Going back in time, he recalled his first performance in front of many people, thanking Singh. The Dream Girl 2 star revealed that every year, a Diwali fair is organized in Dallas, USA, and after winning praise for Vicky Donor and his singing in the film, Arijit called him in 2013.
This famous singer was scheduled to perform at the fair, but due to emergency he could not attend, but his band reached Dallas. Then Sajani singer requested Khurana to go there and perform. Although he explained to Arijit Singh that he always sings for himself or for his friends at a party, “He actually requested and since I have also always been a fan of his, I finally gave in and agreed. ” said the Barfi star from Bareilly.
When Ayushmann went for the concert, the stadium was filled with about fifty thousand people. Obviously, he was taken aback as he went from performing in the drawing room to here. But fortunately, everyone liked the performance and the feedback was great. After this, he started enjoying it so much that he had to form his own band and do live singing.
