Openai Whistleblower Suthir Balaji died of suicide, the San Francisco Police confirmed a corpse report. After investigation and repeated inquiries, the authorities have confirmed their initial findings, concluding that according to a Fortune report, there is no evidence of murder.
When the 26-year-old Indian-American was found to be dead under suspicious circumstances last month, it created a stir among the public, in which Mr. Balaji’s parents often alleged that they were murdered.
A 13-page report from the office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) and a four-page joint response to the trial, San Francisco Police and Medical examiners announced on Friday that Balaji’s death investigation was officially closed. .
He confirmed his initial conclusion that he died of suicide.
Read in a medical examination report, “SFPD conducted an independent investigation and based on the information reviewed by SFPD, is inadequate evidence to find the death of Mr. Balaji, the result of a murder.”
However, Mr. Balaji’s parents accused the police in the autopsy and pointed to his failure in obtaining CCTV footage from the building where he lived. He said that there was no suicide note.
Suchir Balaji’s mother, Poronima Rao said that SFPD wrote wrong information in the body examination and police reports. “They have never taken CCTV footage leasing. We need a report from the police. We are only requesting a transparent inquiry,” he has written on X.

Suchi Balaji was found dead in her apartment on 26 November. After working for four years in Openai, he left the company when he found that the company was training its chatbot on copyright content stolen from the Internet.
