A woman in Australia managed to expose her husband’s infidelity by tracking his spending using a supermarket rewards program. According to a video posted by Cass, a private investigator, her client hired her to investigate her husband, who was exhibiting signs of cheating, but needed evidence to prove the case. .
“My client, the wife, wanted to know how her husband was cheating. We were pretty sure he was up to something,” Ms Cass said in the video.
While the couple lived in Queensland, the husband had recently begun making frequent trips to New South Wales to visit his family, which aroused suspicion as he had rarely visited there before. The wife checked their joint bank account and found transactions from a grocery store called Coles and a hardware store called Burnings.
However, since there was no specific location associated with the store’s name, the wife could not find anything else about her husband. Ms Cass then advised the wife to check if they had a joint rewards account, such as Everyday Rewards or Flybuys.
The couple had an account on Flybuys which led to the mystery being revealed. Purchases made from Coles and Bunnings were listed with the suburbs where each store was located, and they turned out to be the Queensland suburb where the husband’s former girlfriend lived.
In another video, Ms Cass shared a tip for catching a cheating partner which involved simply asking to use your phone. In one strange case, a woman discovered that her partner had just used the eggplant emoji, which is commonly known to represent a penis, even though he had never sent it to her before.
Notably, Ms. Cass runs a female-run investigation firm that conducts background checks, on-ground mobile monitoring, and social media and dating to help women.
