Australian teacher identifies as cat, tells students to call her "Miss Pureer"

An Australian high school teacher has come under investigation after identifying herself as a cat during class sessions, motivating the parents to protest themselves. According to a report in New York Post, The teacher of the Marsden State High School in Logan City, Queensland, allegedly focused on the students, licked the back of her hand and insisted that the students addressed her as “Miss Pure”.

On social media, images wore a teacher wearing a cat headband and a cord with the word “purr”.

A relative was quoted as an outlet, “she forces the children to call Miss Pureer and Cat Screch and Growle when they do not hear.”

“She sits in the classroom and licks her hands. It is absolutely disgusting. It needs to do something about it.”

In a Facebook post, a student’s mother alleged that the teacher made “his daughter” “did” for a lollipop (lollipop).

Another parents said, “It is more disappointing that we are sending mainstream school education, and education system to our children every day.”

Social media users were surprised by the teachers’ antics. While some expressed concern about the quality of education to the students, others jokingly made fun of the situation.
