Ariana Grande is making headlines during her Wicked Press Tour. The Into You hitmaker and her co-stars Jonathan Bailey and Cynthia Erivo played a round of the Never Have I Ever game while promoting their movie. When the topic of wardrobe malfunction came up, Grande first refused and then took a sip of her drink while recalling an incident.
During her interview for British Vogue she said, “I’ve never had a costume accident.” She said, “I have. My bra came off on stage once.” Erivo quipped, “Oh my God, yes.” Pop elaborated on the incident, saying that it “fell to the floor” during one of her stage performances.
Her fans immediately connected the dots and claimed she was referring to a moment from her 2017 Dangerous Woman Tour. During the performance of Into You, she could be seen struggling with the grip of her bra. However, when Grande’s background dancers attempted to fix it, but were unable to, it broke.
Ultimately, the singer had to keep it up for the rest of her performance. This wasn’t the first time Grande did or revealed something controversial on the Wicked press tour. In a video by Out.com posted by the outlet on Instagram, Erivo and Grande discussed the film.
East became emotional talking about how the gay community connected with the lyrics of his song Defying Gravity and felt “power” in it. She said, “I had no idea this was happening. It’s really powerful. This is what I wanted.”
Erivo explained how her character Elphaba never let the hurt and humiliation bring her down. While the actress was explaining how touched she was by the public reaction, Grande held up her long nails as a sign of support. But the clip now going viral has created funny reactions from fans.
“I’ve officially been thinking about Ariana grabbing Cynthia’s nails all day. Every time I close my eyes I see this image,” one Instagram user commented on the post. Another wrote: “I literally can’t stop laughing at this. I giggle every time I see it.”
