AR Rahman reacted to Abhijeet Bhattacharya
Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya criticized AR Rahman for using technology in music, impressing live instruments. AR Rahman defended himself in a special interview highlighting his support for musicians.

Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya recently drawn swords in music Mestro R Rahman. Explaining how he is waiting for Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri Award winners, to beat them to kill musicians, as he followed technology, the singer went out against the Academy Award winner. Now, in a special chat with India Today Digital, the composer defended criticism and said he still loves Abhijeet.
“It is good to blame me for everything,” R Rahman said smiling, “I still love Abhijeet, and I will send him a cake. Also, it is his opinion, and nothing is wrong with being one.”
For Anward, Abhijeet Bhattacharya blamed Rahman for the decline of live instrumentation due to the use of technology. He also mentioned how the composer believed that he could make music on a laptop, and he no longer needs any musician.
Reacting to the comments, AR Rahman said, “I have recently established an orchestra with 60 women in Dubai. They are being employed every month and they are being paid insurance, health and everything. What I do in every film is ‘Chhawa’ or ‘Chhawi’.Ponniyin Selvan ‘, is close to 200-300 musiciansAnd some songs are working more than 100 people.
