MacBook Air M4 can launch today: how and why?

While Apple has not yet made any official statement, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg claimed on Twitter that MacBook Air M4 would be launched today as part of “a new product wave”. His earlier reports reported that both iPad Air and MacBook Air M4 were prescribed to arrive soon, leading to weight gain. In addition, Apple CEO Tim Cook has teased the new “air” products, speculating that the MacBook Air M4 may still be in the launch pipeline, especially since the iPhone 17 Air has been pointing to the launch of September.

Additionally, MacBook Air M3 was introduced on March 4, 2024 last year, suggesting a specific upgrade cycle that soon supports the capacity of the M4 model. Rumor with M4 Macbook Air is another important change memory configuration. While MacBook Air models started with 8GB RAM earlier, M4 MacBook Air is asked to launch as a default with 16GB, with options for power users to configure up to 32GB.
