Anushka Sharma is a ‘calm effect’ in the life of Virat Kohli, Jannat actress Sonal Chauhan says that talking about the spiritual side of the cricketer

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli make for one of the most popular celebrity couples. Fans have seen a glimpse of their spiritual journey, often seen in temples and kirtans with the couple. Sonal Chauhan, who woke up for fame with Jannat, recently talked about the cricketer’s spiritual side and gave her credit to Anushka. Sonal called the actress a ‘calm effect’ in Virat’s life.

In a recent interview with Filmigan, Sonal Chauhan was asked what she would say to Virat Kohli if she suddenly met her. In response, he said, “I would say that Jai Shri Ram and Har Har Mahadev, because he is very religious right now.” Sonal shared that he had seen many videos showing Virat’s spiritual side.

In a statement of years ago, Virat Kohli said, “Do I see the type of worship?” When Sonal was asked about her change since then she expressed confidence that it was due to Anushka Sharma. Calling the NH10 actress a ‘Wright Woman’ in Virat’s life, Sonal shared that Anushka was bringing her spiritual side out.

Sonal further said that being around positive people affected someone’s personality. “I think he has a calm effect in his life,” he said.

Earlier in 2025, with the scene of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, their visit went viral on Premnand Ji Maharaj’s ashram in Vindavan. He was accompanied by his children, Vamika Kohli and AK Kohli. The couple was seen bending the spiritual leader with a folded hands to search for their blessings.

He has also participated in Kirtan by American singer Krishna Das several times in the past.

Virat Kohli is currently in India where he is participating in the Indian Premier League 2025. His team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) currently topped the table. He won his match against Delhi Capital yesterday, 27 April, 2025.

Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma was last seen in a cameo appearance in the 2022 film Kaala. He shot for the biography Khel Natak Chakda ‘Express, but there is no update that the film will be released.
