The film has garnered attention for bringing together Karthik and Sreeleela for the first time in Basu’s directorial debut.

Shoot timeline clarified
Unconfirmed reports suggested that most of the shooting had already been completed. Basu has now rejected that claim.

The project was unveiled in February last year through a promo featuring Kartik Aryan and Sreeleela. At that time, the film was announced to be released in December 2025. Later it was delayed due to various reasons.
Next on the filmmaker’s slate
In the interview, Basu also talked about his plans after finishing the romantic musical drama. He said that he wants to work on Kishore Kumar’s biopic as soon as this project is completed. The director also said that he was thinking about Kishore Kumar for a long time. However, right now his focus is on completing the current film quickly.
The untitled romantic musical drama is backed by T-Series. Its music has been composed by Pritam.
