Anupam Kher announces film on ‘Shri Ram Bhoomi’, director of Kerala Story 2 attached
Anupam Kher has started work on Shri Ram Bhoomi, sharing a happy picture from the sets of the film with fans on Instagram. The actor described the project as a meaningful cinematic journey based on trust, truth and belonging.
Anupam Kher on Friday announced his next film, which is titled Shri Ram Bhoomi. The project will be directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, who recently directed kerala story 2.
Making the announcement on social media, the 71-year-old described the film as a story of “homecoming,” “truth” and “faith,” adding that he feels very proud to be a part of the project.
Kher shared the news on Instagram along with a picture from the sets of the film, where he was seen smiling while holding a clapperboard.

Along with the picture, the actor shared an emotional note in Hindi, expressing his excitement and gratitude about joining the film.
Sharing his happiness, he wrote, “Rambhoomi: My 552nd film! I feel extremely happy and proud to announce my 552nd film ‘Rambhoomi’.” Every decade, every century comes a story that must be told. A story of truth. A story of faith. And a story of homecoming.”
He said, “It is my honor and pride to be a part of this journey. I will need your love, blessings and good wishes. Jai Shri Ram.”
The film stars Kher along with an ensemble cast including Ritwik Bhowmik and Amrita Khanvilkar.

Shri Ram Bhoomi Kamakhya will be directed by Narayan Singh and backed by producers and executives including Anuya Chauhan Kudecha, Ritesh Kudecha, Umesh Kumar Bansal, Raedita, Akash Shah, Pranay Chokshi, Kalapi Shah, Kranti Shanbaug, Girish Johar and Meet Mojo.
