Speaking in a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Kapoor said that the comment came when he was reviewing songs for a show.
He said that during the US tour last year, his team had suggested Tonight As a challenging track for the competitors. Out of curiosity, he watched the video and appreciated Tamannaah’s performance.
He said, “I saw the video and said she was dancing very well. That’s all.” He said that this comment was made in that context.
Addressing the backlash, Kapoor said that the reaction was influenced by the language used. He argued that similar phrases in English could not receive similar criticism. He said, “If I had said ‘Milky Body’ in English, there would have been no problem. But saying it in Hindi became a problem.” He said that he was trolled for this comment.

He said, “Even if I pay attention to someone’s body, I appreciate their physique, but I don’t desire it. I don’t lust for that person. Those are different things. I can appreciate your Rolls-Royce, but I don’t necessarily desire it or feel greedy for it.”

Kapoor said he had no hesitation in admitting his words or apologizing if they had caused any inconvenience. “If she asks me if I said it, I’ll say ‘Yes, I said it. If you feel bad, I’ll touch your feet.’
