Asked why he did not sell OTT rights from Sitare land before his release, Aamir Khan was freshly honest. “I am not a practical man,” he said with a smile. “I do what it sounds right.” He spoke about his choice to prioritize theaters, pointing out that the current model of releasing films on the current model OTT platforms of the industry is damaging her South Indian debut or only eight weeks in Bollywood. “We are killing the theater business ourselves,” he said.
Using a simple analogy, Aamir pointed to a bottle in front of him. “It’s like saying,” Now buy this bottle, or free it in eight weeks. ” Why will anyone pay? “He asked. Aamir Khan feels that it is the responsibility of the audience to support all types of films, not just support action films
Aamir insisted that theater is not only for action films or grand glasses. “People love stories. All kinds of stories,” he said. But he urged the audience to take responsibility. “If you only support action films, it will be all filmmakers. And then you have to watch only action films in theaters. If you like all types of films and want to watch all kinds of films, then go to theaters. Your support gives the freedom to the creators to tell various stories”, PK actor explained.
He also highlighted the face of pressure filmmakers, “Studios often allow us to make a certain type of film, and we have to follow. But when the audience gets unique stories back, it gives us the strength to make in our hearts.”

Asked about the offer of action roles, Aamir shared that after Lal Singh Chaddha, many people pushed him to action projects. But the sensitive story of Sitare land crossed him. “This is such a beautiful story,” he said. He recalled a similar experience with Taare Zameen Paar, when people questioned his choice of dyslexia to make a film -like film, where he appeared only in the second half. “I always have to fight for everything I believe. I follow my heart.” Aamir Khan concluded.
