After his last term in the thug life, Silambarson is ready to return on-screen with a powerful project directed by TR Vartarran. While the initial reports suggested that the upcoming film was Vada Chennai 2 and STR had replaced Dhanush for the same, it was the film producer that later rejected all such discussions.
Large -scale physical changes of Silambarson TR for Wetrimaran direction
Pinkvilla has specifically learned that Silambarson TR is well prepared for his next project with Vitararan. Showing immense dedication for this, the actor has made a large-scale physical change, which has lost about 10 kg, that is also within a certain 10-day window.
The actor will be painted in a young appearance in the project, and thus the change was made. Looking at its look, it seems that the role assigned to the STR will be both powerful and intense.
Str and vetrimaran’s film teaser go out soon
It is not all about development in the project. A source close to the crew of the film confirmed that the actor had already completed shooting of the teaser for the direction of Wetrimaran. This teaser is expected to be revealed soon.
Although the manufacturers have not given any other details other than the fact that it reflects Silambarson TR in addition to the fact that the film promise will be set in the exact raw and gritty cinematic world of Chennai, one of which has been received through the 2018 film.

In the previous video shared by the Grass Route Film Company, Vetrimaran addressed speculation that he replaced Dhanush with a straight to make Chennai 2.
The director highlighted that they were untrue and his film with Silambarson would be set in the 2018 film world, but is not a sequel.
He mentioned, “STR49 is set in the world of Vada Chennai, but this Vada is not Chennai 2. As Dhanush Vada is the copyright holder of Chennai film, I said that I am doing a film with Silambarson TR in Vada Chennai world.”
