“I find it difficult to express myself,” Ananya Panday said during a conversation with Ctrl director Vikramaditya Motwane. While both the celebs discussed their career, love, their thriller film and social media, they also talked about mental health. During the chat the two revealed how they express themselves when they are sad or upset.
In a segment hosted by We Are Young on YouTube, Ananya Panday and Vikramaditya Motwane sat opposite each other and talked about their love life, social media and everything in between. While playing the interactive game, AP chose a card in which they had to share how they express themselves when they feel sad. Responding to this, the Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan actress said, “I find it difficult to express myself because I start crying immediately.”
That’s why she thinks it’s an ideal thing to move away from that situation. The young actress also said that at the moment, she also wants everything to be sorted out and that is why she hates moving away. But whenever he’s done it, it’s always ended up better. “So, I should do that,” she quipped. Answering the same question, the filmmaker said that he tries not to be spontaneous because his tendency is to be nasty, find fault and get angry. So, when he’s feeling sad, he’ll take a break or maybe go for a walk, watch or read something, or “try to switch off for a while” and then try to solve the problem.
Speaking to PTI about CTRL, which highlights the evils of social media, Pandey admitted that she is considering taking a break from it as it affects her mental health. She told the news agency that since she is promoting the film, she has been posting a lot of content on her account because she wants people to see it. “But I think I’m going to take that much-needed digital detox because it affects your mental health,” the Gehraiyaan star said. Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya Panday is busy shooting for her next film Shankara.
