Ahead of the grand release of Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun is stepping into a new role. He lent his voice to Telangana’s anti-drug awareness campaign and urged help for the victims.
Actor Allu Arjun is not only creating excitement for his upcoming film Pushpa 2: The Rule but also giving his stand on an important issue. The actor recently participated in Telangana’s anti-drug awareness campaign and gave a powerful video message to the public.
The campaign video begins with a group of friends discussing about a friend who used to enthusiastically make short videos during the Pushpa incident, but after hearing the response, “He is now addicted to drugs.” The conversation moves towards a hopeful solution when another friend comments, “Pushpa Raj has already given us the answer!”

After this, in the video, Allu Arjun gives a powerful message and says, “Let’s support drug addicts or friends by reporting them on the given toll-free number. The government will help them connect with rehabilitation centres. This is not a punishment but a way to help them. Let us together build a safe and healthy society.”
Sharing this video on his X handle, the Arya actor wrote, “Let’s unite to support the victims and work towards building a safe, healthy society. “I am humbled to be a part of this impressive initiative of the Government of Telangana.”

The campaign is in line with Telangana’s broader initiative to leverage film personalities to raise awareness about social issues such as drug abuse and cyber crime. The directive is also linked to the recent approval of increased ticket prices for new film releases. Actor Jr NTR also recently participated in a similar campaign for his film Devara: Part 1, urging the youth to avoid drug use.
Meanwhile, the promotions of Pushpa 2: The Rule are in full swing, with the trailer and other pre-release events receiving an enthusiastic response across India. Directed by Sukumar and co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, the film is set for a grand release on December 5, 2024.
