Alek Baldwin diagnosed PTSD after the rest accident: Why couldn’t it be me?
Alek Baldwin addressed the tragic death of cinematographer Halina Hachins for the first time in his reality show. His wife, Hilaria also talked about his PTSD diagnosis during the same episode.
Alek Baldwin has publicly spoken about the death of Halina Hutchins on his reality show – The Baldwins, which he shares with his wife, Hillaria.
In 2021, while filming the rust, Baldwin accidentally removed a stuffed gun, resulting in Hutchins. In the show’s 23 February episode, Hilaria revealed that her husband had revealed PTSD after the incident.
She said, “She was discovered by PTSD, and she says in her dark moments,” If an accident happened on this day, why am I still here? Why couldn’t it be? ” ,
Baldwin himself reflected on the tragedy, including the tragedy and the subsequent legal battle. Remembering a friend, he remembered -“I am happy when I am awake.”
Talking directly to his wife, he admitted, “This has just been real. I mean, I can’t even believe that we are going through this, and I always feel more about you in pain, because I think of myself, well, you know. ,
The legal case against Baldwin was rejected in December 2024. Special prosecutor Qari Morissy withdrew an appeal against the dismissal, bringing the case close. Baldwin’s lawyers, Luke Nicas and Alex Spiro said, “Today’s decision to dismiss the appeal Alek Baldwin and his lawyers said from the beginning – it was an inexplicable tragedy, but Alex Baldwin did not commit any crime.”
Hachins was killed when Baldwin set a camera shot and pointed to a gun on it. The gun fired a live round, inadvertently loaded by the film’s main weapon handler, Hannah Gutirez.
Gutirez was convicted of involuntary murder in March and sentenced next month.
