Director Prasanth Verma’s cinematic universe is gearing up with its lineup, and the filmmaker shared a large -scale update on September 30, 2025. In a brand-new character poster, the manufacturers unveiled the introduction of Akshaye Khanna with an unfamiliar look in Telugu cinema.

Recently in a social media post, Prasanth Verma revealed the first look of Akshaye Khanna, introducing a new avatar by the actor. The poster introduced her in a sage-like appearance, which radiates a major aura.
Sharing the update, Verma said, “In the shadow of the gods, the most bright flame of rebellion increased. Presenting deed #akshayKhanna as ‘Asurguru Shukracharya’ from #Mahakali.”

The Mahakali is an upcoming installment in the shared cinematic universe known as the Prasanth Verma Cinematic Universe (PVCU). The film is set to introduce the first female superhero in the filmmaker’s ambitious venture.
Allegedly, the film will have a bold and fresh depiction of Goddess Kali, breaking the traditional beauty standards. While more information about the film has been revealed so far, the film will be directed by Pooja Aparna Kalluru based on the screenplay written by Verma.

Prasanth Verma is a cinematic universe superhero shared film cosmore that began with Teja decoration starrer Hanu-Man (2024). The film followed Hanumantu’s story, who is a young man who stumbles on a divine gem and acquires the powers of Lord Hanuman.
However, an anti-power-horrifying is also on the discovery of finding Mani, threatening Hanuman and his village. The story focuses on how the young man rises to protect his people, ends with a clifhezer that determines the platform for a sequel.
Lord Hanuman will be included as a central person in the sequel called Jai Hanuman, in which Risha Shetty will play the title role.
Apart from Jai Hanuman and Mahakali, another upcoming film Kalyan Dasari is starring PVCU. The manufacturers recently issued an update as a major antagonist to SJ Surya.
Akshaye Khanna’s next film
Akshaye Khanna is the next set to appear in the detective actioner Dhurandhar. Written, directed and co-produced by Aditya Dhar, Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R. Artists, including Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and many more, starred in the lead role with artists.
