In an interview recently, director Karan Singh Tyagi confirmed that Kumar would title all the future Kesari franchise films and also revealed why he chose Ananya Pandey for the role of Deleriat Gill.
In an interview with News18, Karan Singh Tyagi shared details about the upcoming installments and discovered that Akshay Kumar would continue to lead the franchise. He said that with the title of Kesari Chapter 2, he is taking the story forward, in which more stories about the unseeded heroes are ready to be introduced.
Karan assured fans that the franchise would definitely have more films, all of which would title Akshaya. He emphasized that Akshay Kesari is synonymous and praised his remarkable performance in the film, depicting his bravery, his bravery and sacrifices.
Karan Singh Tyagi allegedly shared that Ananya Pandey was cast in Kesari Chapter 2 in 2022, and his performance in Gehria played an important role in the decision to offer his role. Praising Pandey’s preparation for the role, the lawyer-directed-director shared that he researched the Jaliyanwala Bagh massacre on a large scale, even read a book filled with poems written about the tragedy. He described the book as a “Bible”, as he did with him on the set.
He further explained that Ananya fully adopted the role of Dilerite Gill, given how he brought an ideal balance of vulnerability and resolve to the character, showing both qualities beautifully in his performance.
