Tamil actor and racer Ajith Kumar was one of the first citizens to cast his vote in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections being held today (April 23) across the state. The actor arrived at the Thiruvanmiyur booth in Chennai completely dressed in white shirt, trousers and matching blazer to perform his civic duty.

He was surrounded by chaotic fans shouting his name and expressing their love for him. Police officers had to work hard to control the crowd. In the video, Ajit can be seen covering his ears to avoid noise outside the polling booth.

Ajit Kumar was seen returning from Belgium on Wednesday ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. The actor participated in the 24H endurance race with his team and finished second in the international championship.

Earlier this year, Ajit had shared his 2026 calendar, which featured a number of racing events throughout the year in countries like Portugal, Italy, Germany and many more.

On the cinema front, Ajith Kumar was set to do a film with director Adhik Ravichandran, marking their second collaboration after the hit 2025. good bad ugly.
