Tamil actor Ajit Kumar opened about being honored with Padma Bhushan. Today, in a special conversation with India, ‘Good Bad Ugly’ actor described this moment as real. A middle class person in the heart, Ajit shared that he was overwhelmed when announced in January this year. His wife, Shalini, and his children were present in Rashtrapati Bhavan for the witness of Rashtron on 28 April.
Expressing his feelings, Ajit said, “Honestly, it is still not drowned. I am still a plain middle -class person, and it seems so real to be here and to experience all these emotions. I am happy and overwhelmed.”
He continued to share, “First, I was overwhelmed, but I believe that moments like these inspire you – or at least assure you – that you are on the right path and what you’re doing in all these years.
Asked whether to be grounded is his secret to success, the 53 -year -old explained that he is only an actor, and this is just another task for which he is paid. He also shared that he does not like to be called a ‘superstar’.
He said, “I don’t believe that all these suffixes have been linked to your name. I am said to be Ajit, AK, or whatever it is. This is just another work. I am an actor by profession, and I am paid for my work. Famous and fate is that you love your work. My other hobbies and passion.”
On the work front, Ajit Kumar was last seen in ‘Good Bad Bads’. The film received a positive review and marked her renovation with Trisha Krishnan and Simran Bagga.
