Actor Ajit Kumar was given with Padma Bhushan in January 2025. On Monday, the actor, his wife, Shalini, daughter Anushaka and son, were seen at Chennai International Airport before going to New Delhi, along with Adik. The actor will receive the honor at the President of India, Draupadi Murmu, Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday.

In the viral video, the actor Ajit Kumar can be seen walking with the airport staff. He is seen in a black and white blazer. He was accompanied by Suresh Chandra, a family member and manager.

Ajit Kumar recently returned to India after finishing second in the Belgian 12h racing event. He was also seen participating in the Chennai Super Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad match a few days ago at Chennai Stadium.

In January, the ‘Mankatha’ actor shared a hearty note after the Padma Samman.

He wrote, “I am deeply humble and honored to receive the Padma Award honored by the President of India. I expand my heartbreaking to my heart for this prestigious honor to Honorable President of India, Mrs. Draupadi Murmu and Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. It is a privilege to accept such contribution for me.

Ajit also thanked his wife and former actor Shalini and her children. He wrote, “For Shalini, my wife and about 25 amazing years of partner: Your partnership is a joy and foundation for my success. And for my children, Anawasha and Adik: You are my pride and my life lights, motivate me to determine an example to do good and live correctly.”

On the work front, Ajit Kumar released two in 2025. He started with the release of ‘Vidamuirchi’ this year, and followed ‘Good Bad Ugly’, which is running successfully at the box office.
