Actress Kajol is celebrating her 50th birthday on August 5, 2024, and has received special wishes from her celebrity friends and co-stars. Her husband, actor Ajay Devgn, paid a particularly touching tribute. His post, accompanied by a beautiful photo and a heartfelt caption, expresses his admiration for Kajol today, tomorrow and always.
In the picture, Ajay and Kajol are seen posing together, looking extremely adorable. Kriti Sanon, Tanishaa Mukerji and other celebrities also expressed their affection for Kajol on her birthday. Karan Johar posted several fond memories with Kajol on Instagram on the occasion. The pictures included blurry selfies from their Durga Puja celebrations and Johar’s 50th birthday party. One particularly poignant picture showed Johar kissing Kajol on the cheek. The collection also included selfies with Manish Malhotra and Gauri Khan.
Meanwhile, on the work front, the Maidaan actor has a few films in the pipeline. His recent release was Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha co-starring Tabu, Saiee Manjrekar and Shantanu Maheshwari.
Pinkvilla had earlier reported that Ajay has begun shooting for two different franchise films, De De Pyaar De 2 and Son Of Sardaar 2, in London this June. Ajay is reported to have wrapped up shooting for Singham Again and Raid 2 by the end of May, both of which are slated to release in the latter half of 2024. After this, he will head to London to begin work on De De Pyaar De 2 before moving on to Son Of Sardaar 2.
The initial phase of Ajay’s London schedule will include 15 days of shooting for De De Pyar De 2, directed by Anushul Sharma. After this, he will begin shooting for Son of Sardaar 2, the sequel to his successful 2012 comedy.
Though the director of ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ has not been announced, the source revealed that an acclaimed Punjabi film director, known for comedy, might helm the project.
The status of Singham Again, Raid 2, De De Pyar De 2 and Son of Sardaar 2 is clear, but projects like Dhamaal 4, Drishyam 3 are still under development. Also, there is speculation that Shaitan 2 might also come by next year.
