In Bollywood, Ajay Devgan is considered to have a calm and restrained personality. However, he also has a playful side and is known for playing pranks on set. Recently, the Golmaal actor admitted that some of his pranks even led to a few divorces. He also shared his reaction on the phrase “Bolo Zubaan Kesari” becoming a part of meme culture.
Recently during a conversation with Ranveer Allahabadia, Ajay Devgan and Rohit Shetty sat down for an interview after the release of Singham Again. During the discussion, the two were shown a behind-the-scenes video where the Golmaal actor had joked with a cameraman on the shoot sets.
Reacting to the video, both Devgan and Shetty had a heated exchange, with the filmmaker commenting that it was a little prank. He then recalled a more elaborate prank, where he sent a woman and children to a production team member’s house claiming that she was his first wife. This prank leads to a dispute between the team member and his family, exposing the extent of his practical jokes.
Ajay Devgan acknowledged the scale of these pranks, admitting, “Nowadays, pranksters worry about hurting someone. We didn’t think about it then. There have been one or two divorces because of us. ” Because of us),” clarifying that no stars were involved in the divorce.
Apart from discussing the joke, Devgan was also asked about his famous catchphrase, “Bolo Zubaan Kesari”, from a brand endorsement. When asked if he liked the tagline being part of meme culture, Devgan replied, “It’s fine…it doesn’t matter.”
Rohit Shetty said that the phrase no longer seems offensive and expressed his belief that everyone enjoys memes and laughs at them. Devgan further said that people often create memes deliberately to make films popular.
