Indian tech brand Ai+ announced three new smartphones at a big launch event today. The Nova Flip is the brand’s first foldable phone to opt for a flip-style design. The Nova 2 and Nova 2 Ultra are traditional slab phones with a 6,000mAh battery, 5G connectivity, and a 50MP main camera.
AI+Nova Flip
This is the brand’s first foldable phone, and at first glance, it definitely looks like the Nubia Flip 2. A closer examination of its specs reveals that this is the case, with the only exception being that the Nova Flip runs nxtQ OS based on Android 15.
Outside of the software department, the AI+ Nova Flip has pretty much the same features as the Nubia Flip 2, including a 6.9-inch foldable OLED main display (FHD+120Hz), MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300X chipset, and a 4,325mAh battery with 33W charging.
You also get a 3-inch OLED cover screen, a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 32MP front-facing module. The AI+ Nova Flip comes in a single Glacier White color and will retail at INR 49,999 ($540) In its 8/256GB trim. The phone will be available in India through partner retailers from May.

The Nova 2 is built around a 6.74-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with a Unisoc T8200 chipset, 4/6GB of RAM, and 64/128GB of storage, with the latter expandable via dual SIM slots that can take a microSD card.
The Nova 2 sports a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture along with an unspecified secondary sensor. The software side is covered by nxtQ OS based on Android 16, and you get a 6,000mAh battery with 18W charging. The phone has IP64 ingress protection, a headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The AI+Nova 2 comes in purple, green, pink, blue and black. ground line 4/64GB trim comes in INR 8,999 ($94) When 6/128GB Will be sold for edition INR 10,999 ($119). Open sale in India is scheduled for April 14.
AI+ Nova 2 Ultra
The Nova 2 Ultra brings a 6.78-inch AMOLED with 1.5K resolution and a faster 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is rated at up to 2,500 nits of peak brightness and features a 13MP selfie camera and a built-in fingerprint scanner.
It is equipped with a more capable Dimensity 7400 chipset with 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which is expandable.
On the back, you get a 50MP main camera with Sony’s IMX752 sensor along with an 8MP ultrawide lens. The software side is covered by nxtQ OS based on Android 16 with a 6,000 mAh battery and 33W wired charging. You also get better IP68 ingress protection.
The AI+ Nova 2 comes in ultra blue, green, purple, black and red colors. it begins INR 16,999 ($184) In its 6/128GB trim and top out INR 18,999 ($205) For 8/128GB trim. Open sale in India will start from April 17.
