Meta has announced that its latest smart glasses, Ray-Ban Meta, will soon be launched in India. Global eyewear brands made in partnership with the brand essilorloxottica are powered by Meta AI and provide a unique mixture of fashion and technology. After launching in select markets last year, glasses are now being introduced in more countries including Mexico and UAE, ready to join the list soon with India. Designed for free-free conversation, glasses to users ask questions, translate languages, control music, and even to send messages-all just saying, O Meta. With the built -in cameras and speakers, they can capture photos, record videos, and call using an app such as WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram.

Ray-Bain Meta Glasses was first launched in September 2023 as the successor of the original Ray-Ban stories, which came out in 2021. With this new generation, Meta has introduced more powerful AI features, better sound quality, better design and expanded app support. The glasses are designed to look and feel like a regular ray-ban, but are filled with smart tech which allows you to stay connected with your phone in your pocket. Whether you are capturing a quick video, listening to your favorite playlist, or chatting with Meta AI, all this happens from your glasses-free from hand.

One of the standout features is live translation. This device, which is now rolling globally, supports the real -time voice translation between English, French, Italian and Spanish. If language packs are downloaded, it can also work offline. This makes especially helpful for any person speaking with travelers or people using different languages. Translation appears as audio through glasses, with a transcript on your phone, makes communication smooth and more accessible.

Glasses also support major platforms such as Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music and Shazam. With a simple voice command, users can play songs, identify music, or control playback. For those who often use Instagram, glasses now allow messaging and call through the application, adding existing support for WhatsApp and Messenger.

In select countries, the meta is testing an advanced feature where glasses can “see” your surroundings and react accordingly. This AI vision mode allows for more natural interactions without the need to say O Meta every time. However, this facility has not yet been confirmed to India, which knows that we can get to see it after officially launching glasses.

As of now, Meta has not revealed the official launch date or pricing for India. Stay on today’s technology for India for more on Ray-Ban Meta Glasses.
