In her statement, Kareena described that day as “incredibly challenging” for her family and requested privacy during this difficult period. He expressed gratitude for the concern and support but stressed that the constant investigation poses a security risk and is burdensome to his family.
“We are still trying to process the incidents that have unfolded. As we are going through these difficult times, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from constant speculation and coverage. While we appreciate the concern, the constant scrutiny not only troubles us but also puts our safety at risk,” Kareena said.

He suffered deep wounds and was admitted to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery. According to the hospital statement, Saif suffered six stab wounds, two of which were deep.
