Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar got engaged in July 2025 and announced the news by sharing pictures from the proposal.
Earlier, Anshula had revealed that she and Rohan were first connected through an online dating platform in 2022. Recalling the beginning of their relationship, she wrote, “We started talking at 1.15 on Tuesday and ended up talking for hours.”
Sharing details of the proposal, Anshula had said, “Three years later, in my favorite city, in front of the palace in Central Park, he proposed!” She also revealed that Rohan proposed at exactly 1.15am IST, the same time they spoke for the first time several years ago, describing the coincidence as “like magic”.
Anshula is the daughter of filmmaker Boney Kapoor and his late first wife Mona Shourie Kapoor and younger sister of actor Arjun Kapoor. Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi’s daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor also share a close bond with Anshula and Arjun and were a part of the pre-wedding celebrations.
