Trigger warning: Article mentions death threats.
After Salman Khan, Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav received death threats through emails, which allegedly came from Pakistan. The email sent from the email address named by a person named ‘Bishnu’ on December 14, 2024, warned of harming Yadav. Yadav’s wife Radha Rajpal Yadav lodged a complaint at Amboli police station in Mumbai, following which a First Information Report was registered. Police has started the investigation of the matter.
An FIR has been registered against an unknown person under section 351(3) of BNS at Amboli police station. Police has started the investigation of the matter. According to officials, it is believed that the threatening email has come from Pakistan.
According to NDTV, the email read, “We have been monitoring your recent activities and we believe it is important that we bring a sensitive matter to your attention. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you.” No, we urge you to treat it.” Message with utmost seriousness and confidentiality.”
According to the police, the threatening email demanded a response from the celebrities within eight hours and warned of dire consequences on both personal and professional fronts if ignored. The email was found in Rajpal Yadav’s spam folder.
Mumbai Police is taking this case on high priority, as many celebrities have been targeted in recent incidents. It is noteworthy that politician Baba Siddiqui was tragically shot dead near his residence in Bandra area of Mumbai in October last year.
Jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang has taken responsibility for the murder of Baba Siddiqui. Following the incident, Salman Khan increased his security measures, including installing bulletproof windows in his balcony for added security.
Just last week, Saif Ali Khan faced a shocking attack at his Bandra residence. An intruder entered his house in the early hours of Thursday and stabbed the actor six times, seriously injuring him. The alarming trend of threats and attacks has raised serious concerns about the safety of Bollywood celebrities.
Reports suggest that doctors have successfully removed a 2.5-inch knife blade from Saif Ali Khan’s wound. After treatment at Lilavati Hospital, the actor was discharged and returned home on Tuesday evening (January 21).
Showing signs of recovery, Saif greeted the fans and paparazzi waiting outside his residence. He also met auto driver Bhajan Singh Rana, who took him to hospital after the attack on Wednesday night, and expressed gratitude for his timely help.
