After Sabarmati Report trailer launch, Vikrant Massey reveals his 9-month-old son’s name is being dragged into threats: ‘What society are we living in?’

Vikrant Massey’s The Sabarmati Report is just a day away from release. The upcoming historical drama film is based on the Godhra train burning incident that took place on February 27, 2002. While the film is garnering critical attention, 12^th The Fail actor recently revealed that his younger son Vardaan’s name is also included in the threats.

In a report published in Free Press Journal quoting Dainik Bhaskar, Vikrant Massey has talked about receiving threats for his upcoming film The Sabarmati Report. The actor shared that he is getting pressure on social media and WhatsApp.

“These people know that in the first 9 months, I have become a father of a child. My child who cannot even walk properly, his name is being taken in between. I am being made to worry for his safety. We In which society are you living? (These people know that I have a 9 year old son who cannot even walk yet. They are dragging his name and I am worried about his safety. What society are we living in?

The 12th Fail actor further expressed his disappointment and admitted that he is not afraid but regretful at such a situation. The actor expressed his belief that if he had been afraid, he would not have brought the film for release.

It is worth noting that earlier during the trailer launch too, Messi had mentioned how he was receiving threats. He also explained that this was something that he and the entire team were handling together. “But as actors, our role is to tell stories, and this film is based on facts. I’m dealing with it, or rather we’re managing it collectively as a team, and we’re dealing with it Will handle it properly.” Said.

Directed by Dheeraj Sarna, The Sabarmati Report stars Raashi Khanna, Riddhi Dogra and Barkha Singh in lead roles. Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Vicky Films, the film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta R Kapoor, Amul V. Mohan and Anshul Mohan. The film is scheduled for theatrical release tomorrow i.e. November 15, 2024.
