As actor Ranveer Singh turned 41 on Monday, July 6, he has been receiving birthday wishes from his fans and members of the film industry. Among those marking the occasion were his stalwart Director Aditya Dhar and co-actor Arjun Rampal, who shared unseen behind-the-scenes photos from the sets of the film along with personal notes for the actor.

Dhar posted a series of photos offering a glimpse of its construction stalwart And Dhurandhar: RevengeWhile Rampal shared pictures from the climactic parts of the film and the subsequent celebrations. Both messages focused on Singh’s work in the film and memories of working with him.

Marking Ranveer Singh’s birthday, director Aditya Dhar shared a very personal note reflecting on their collaboration, saying that some films stay with you forever, stalwart There will always be one of them. He praised the actor’s intense dedication to the craft and wrote, “I’ve always known you are an extraordinary actor. But this journey has made me fall in love with the artiste you are and even more so with the human being behind the artiste.”

Dhar recalled seeing “something incredibly rare” during the filming of intense scenes – which included the 26/11 scene, the final tea shop scene, the Pathankot massacre, the pump house scene and the courtroom outdoor scene – noting that the actor never chose the easy option. He described the performance as a masterclass in precision where every emotion, silence, glance and heartbeat was pitch-perfect.

Reflecting on the continuity of the performance, the director said, “It truly felt like watching someone touched by divine grace. As if Maa Saraswati herself had placed her hand on your head and blessed you with every possible artistic talent.”

Dhar expressed his conviction that this portrayal is one of the finest performances ever seen in Indian cinema, describing it as a fearless, towering “force of nature” who completely disappears into the soul of the character – something he is sure audiences will discuss for generations to come.

Concluding his tribute, the filmmaker emphasized that his greatest achievement was the bond he created off-camera during his constant pursuit of perfection. She thanked the actor for trusting her with his heart, his art and his madness and said, “Somewhere along the way, you stopped being just my actor. You became my brother. Several images shared online showed Singh and Rampal filming the climax between Hamza Ali Mazari and Major Iqbal.
