The film Aditya 369 is a science-story story that mixes history in his story. It has a time machine that takes passengers in different time periods, which includes a post-epocaliptic future in 1526 CE and 2504 CE.
Film examines the topics of technology, democracy and war and is inspired by HG Wales’s novel, tie machine. The historical sections of the film have been determined during the reign of Vijayanagar Emperor Srikrishnadevaraya.

The film is directed by Singatum Srinivas Rao, who wrote the story while the dialogues were written by Jandia. The film was musically prepared by Ilaiyaraja, in which PC Shriram, VSR Swami, and Kabir Lal were handling cinematography in different schedules. The film was edited by Govatam Raju.
The film is considered one of the most influential works in Indian science-fi cinema and has a sequel called Aditya 999 Max. In early 2025, NBK himself announced, his son Mokshagana also joined him. However, the director of the sequel Flick has not yet been unveiled.
Nandamuri Balakrishna was last seen in the film Daku Maharaj directed by Bobby Koli. The action-drama flicks depicted Bobby Dole as the main opposition and is currently available to stream on Netflix.
