Actress Daisy Shah remembers being ‘touched badly’ by a South filmmaker
Daisy Shah recalled an uncomfortable casting incident early in her career, involving inappropriate contact by a film producer, but she chose not to name him.

Actress Daisy Shah recently recalled an uncomfortable incident from her early career during a casting meeting in Mumbai. Actor, known for his Bollywood debut with Salman Khan Be victorious (2014), shared his story in an interview.
talking to Free Press Journal, Daisy recalled that during a casting session with a South Indian filmmaker, she felt uncomfortable due to inappropriate physical contact.

She said, “A film producer from the South had touched me badly. He had come to Mumbai for casting. There were six to seven girls who had gone to meet him. He was meeting all of us separately. But I did not like it because he touched me and he held my hand.”
Expressing her discomfort, Daisy said, “I’m always apprehensive about people touching me. The reason I don’t get massages is because I don’t like to be touched, even by a woman. Being touched by a man is a completely different story. So it made me nervous. I told him, ‘I’ll get back to you,’ but I never got back to him.”
The actor avoided naming the filmmaker involved.
Daisy Shah started her career as an assistant to choreographer Ganesh Acharya and made her acting debut in Kannada cinema with films like bhadra And bodyguard. He got fame in Bollywood from Be victorious and came forward later hate story 3 (2015). Apart from acting, she has participated in dance reality shows and made various television appearances.
Recently Daisy was seen in Amjad Khan’s web series red RoomWith Amit Gaur, Anuj Sachdeva, Reena Agarwal and Reeva Chaudhary. Additionally, she is also active on YouTube and shares her daily routine with around 50,000 subscribers.
Looking ahead, Daisy is set to play the female lead in the upcoming thriller directed by Palash Muchhal, which will also star Shreyas Talpade.
