The statement concluded, “Accordingly, all theaters in Tamil Nadu are allowed five screenings per day for seven days from the release date of newly released Tamil films and five screenings on Saturdays and Sundays on local festivals and public holidays.” It was also emphasized that producers will not need permission from the government and licensing authority for this.
