Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar undergoes successful bladder cancer surgery
Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar, who recently underwent surgery in the US, is recovering. His daughter Nivedita Shivarajkumar and his doctor gave updates about the actor’s health.
Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar successfully underwent surgery for bladder cancer at the Miami Cancer Institute (MCI), USA, on December 24, 2024. Before leaving for the US, the actor had revealed that he was undergoing treatment and assured fans that his condition was fine. Control. Now, his daughter Nivedita Shivarajkumar has shared an update about the surgery through her statement on X.
In her statement, Nivedita said, ‘By the grace of God, my father’s surgery was completed successfully. He is now in a stable condition and recovering.” He further added, ‘Throughout this journey, my father has been a pillar of strength.”
He expressed his gratitude to the medical team of MCI and Dr. Murugesh Manoharan, physician-in-charge, for their exceptional care and support. Nivedita expressed her heartfelt thanks to fans for their prayers and unwavering support for her beloved superstar.
Dr Murugesh Manoharan also shared an update on Shiva Rajkumar’s condition after the surgery. In a video statement he said, “Mr Shiv Rajkumar’s surgery went very well. His cancerous bladder was completely removed. Next, he created an artificial bladder using his own intestine. He further added, “Shivanna is a very strong person both mentally and physically. He was very stable during and after the surgery.
Speaking about Shiva Rajkumar’s recovery, Dr Manoharan said, “He is stable, and all his laboratory tests are very good. I hope that by the grace of God he will recover soon and be back to normal within a few weeks.
The news comes as a relief to the Kannada superstar’s fans, who were praying for his speedy recovery. Before the surgery, a special puja was organized by the fans to pray for the strength and good health of Shiva Rajkumar. His wife Geeta Shivarajkumar also addressed the fans and thanked them for their support. He shared that Shiva Rajkumar will personally address his fans in a few days.
