Actor Shine Tom Chacko accepted at the de-addition center amid claims of drug abuse
Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko has been admitted to a rehabilitation center after allegations of drug abuse by co-star Vinci Eloshius. He was first arrested and released on bail.

Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko was admitted to a de-addition center amid claims of drug abuse by his co-stars. Recently, Vinci Elosian, co-star of ‘Sothravakyam’, filed a complaint with Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce, alleging misconduct and drug use on the film set. Immediately after the claims, he was arrested by the police, where he confessed to using drugs.
He expressed his desire to remove his addiction and hence he is now admitted to the rehabilitation center. On Vinci’s complaint, Kerala film Body informed Chacko’s family and said that he needed professional assistance for his addiction.
As Homeland Report, ‘Leo’ actor will undergo treatment as part of the D-Addition program of the Kerala government, called ‘Vimukthi’. Their treatment will be supervised by the Department of Excise.
While Vinci Alashius did not register a police complaint, the Excise Department took notice of this and arrested Shine Tom Chacko. After grinding for hours, he was allowed to go on bail.
Recently, Shine Tom Chacko and Srinath Bhasi were questioned by the Excise Department regarding the Hybrid Ganja case. Recently, directors Khalid Rahman and Ashraf Hamza were arrested in the possession of Marijuana.
Earlier this month, Excise officials in Alappuzha, Kerala seized hybrid ganja worth Rs 2 crore from Christina and Feroz. Christina, 41, claimed that she had consumed drugs with Chacko and Bhasi, after which she was called by the police.
