Actor Raza Murad filed a police complaint after a false social media post declared him dead. The experienced revealed that the shock of death created a widespread crisis among his family, friends and fans.

Expressing disappointment at misinformation, the 73 -year -old actor clarified that he was alive. Wisdom, talking ANISaid, “There are some people who are for the reasons that I do not understand, they seem upset with my existence. They posted about my death and even presented condolences. He wrote that I worked for many years, but now there is no one to remember me. He has also mentioned my birthday and fake date of death on that post. It is a very serious matter.”

He said, “My throat, tongue, and lips have dried up by telling people that I am alive. This false news has spread everywhere. I am getting calls and messages from all over the world. People are also sending copies of the posts.”

Expressing his anger over fake news, the actor further said, “Whoever has done so should have a very bad mindset. He seems to be a very young person, someone who has never done anything important in his life. That is why he enjoys doing such cheap things.”

Murad mentioned that the police was taking his complaint seriously. He said, “They have accepted my complaint and are filing an FIR. He assured me that they would reach the bottom of this and catch the responsible person. Legal action will be taken against him.”

“It should stop now. It’s not only about me. Famous celebrities are often declared dead while they are still alive. It is wrong, and whatever does it should be punished,” the experienced said.

Murad is known for his roles in popular Indian shows and films. He was last seen in the Hindi television show ‘Megha Barsenz’ (2025) and Prime Video Series ‘Cinema Marte Dum Tech’ (2023).
