Actor Parveen Dabas on his accident: I didn’t want people to guess I was drunk
Actor Parveen Dabas opens up about her recent road accident. Speaking to India Today Digital, the actor said that he doesn’t want people to assume that he is driving under the influence.

Actor and photographer Parveen Dabas, who met with an accident on September 21, is now back home. After a brief stay in the ICU, the Khosla Ka Ghosla actor is now recovering, and is also taking medicines for dizziness, headache and other effects of the stroke. “Personally, I feel I am recovering fast. While doctors have talked about a month, I should recover in 10 days,” he told India Today in an exclusive interview.
While Dubas was in the emergency room, there was already speculation that he was drunk at the time of the accident. Speaking about this, Parveen Dabas agreed that during an accident the first thing people assume is that the driver was drunk. “I remember when I was coming in and out of consciousness, the only words coming out of my mouth were ‘get my blood test done (Test my blood)’. The doctors said they couldn’t smell alcohol, but I wanted it on paper. Just claiming I’m clean isn’t enough, so I was relieved when the pathology report came. I didn’t want anyone to say ‘kay’P.K. crashed the car (He crashed his car because he was drunk)’.”
Although the actor doesn’t like to think back about that horrific accident, Parveen shared with us how the high beam of another car blinded her. He shared that he has often seen how everyone uses the lights which is a dangerous habit, “It’s a selfish way to drive. I was lucky I didn’t get fatally injured or hurt anyone else.” But these high rays can cause accidents on the road. It was dark when I was coming back and being blinded by the light, I hit something in the middle of the road and realized that That it was a big drum filled with water placed as a divider.”
The actor recalled how two boys saved him and took him to the hospital. His wife, actor Preeti Jhangiani, his sister and brother-in-law rushed to the emergency room after receiving information about the accident. Parveen said, “These boys did not tell her their names. I want to reach out to them through media. They can DM me or send messages. I would love to take them out.”
Discussing how his wife Preeti Jhangiani stood by him the whole time, Parveen Dabas said, “I thank God that she was with me. I think that’s why I stood by her in the first place.” Attracted to. There are a lot of beautiful women there.” , but he was also the person who won my heart. Preeti is very generous and calm and has a very good soul. When I was in the ICU, she was replying to everyone, ‘She is really my better half.’
Apart from being an actor, Parveen Dabas is also an entrepreneur and the founder of Pro-Panja League.
