Actor Gurcharan Singh on his disappearance: Had no plans to return, was upset

Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Gurucharan Singh has opened up about his disappearance in April this year. He said that he did not want to return home and also clarified that his disappearance was not a publicity stunt. Gurucharan Singh played Roshan Sodhi in the longest running Indian sitcom Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
After years of being troubled by his financial situation, Gurcharan said he decided to go on a spiritual journey. “I have always been spiritual because of my parents, and at this point in my life when I was feeling depressed, I turned to God. I went on a spiritual journey with no plans to return. But God gave me a sign that made me return home,” Gurcharan said. Bombay Times.
Reacting to people calling his disappearance a publicity stunt, the 51-year-old actor said, “Many people think that I planned my disappearance for publicity, but that is not true. If I wanted publicity, I could have given an interview to talk about the pending dues of my work in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. I could have used social media to do that, but I didn’t. Even after coming back home, I didn’t give any interview, but now I am speaking up because I want to clarify certain things that people are saying about me.”
Singh recently returned to Mumbai.And at the airport, he mentioned that the makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have “almost” cleared all his pending dues. He is now looking for work and approaching people in the industry so that he can pay off his loans.
Singh was scheduled to fly from Delhi to Mumbai on April 22 but could not go. did not board the plane and went missingThe actor returned home on May 18. After his return, the police confirmed that Gurcharan Singh had gone on a spiritual retreat to sort out some of his personal issues.
