Addressing the media ahead of his wedding, Aamir Khan confirmed that he will marry Gauri Spratt on July 5 in an intimate ceremony at his Mumbai home. The actor said that only close family and friends will attend the ceremony.

Days before marrying his partner Gauri Spratt, Aamir Khan shared details of his wedding, and confirmed that the ceremony will take place on July 5 at his Mumbai residence. Speaking to the media during a promotional event for pritam and pedro On Wednesday, the actor said that the wedding will be an intimate celebration with only close family and friends in attendance.

Calling it a special occasion, Aamir said the couple wanted to keep the ceremony small and wanted everyone’s blessings to start a new chapter together.

He said, “The wedding is happening on July 5. It is a very intimate affair, being held at home. It is a very special day for us. Both our families and a few close friends will be there; we are keeping it small and celebrating at home. We seek everyone’s blessings and prayers – please bless us and pray that we remain happy and that we have a great journey ahead.”

Aamir introduced Gauri Spratt to the media for the first time on her 60th birthday earlier this year and publicly confirmed their relationship for the first time. Recently, in an interview with Variety India, they confirmed that the two are ready to get married.

He had said, “Yes, it’s true. But now we both feel that we are ready to take our relationship to the next level.”

Speaking about their relationship, Aamir said that he already feels emotionally married to Spratt and sees the ceremony as a natural extension of their partnership.

He said, “I am at peace. Gauri and I are serious about each other and we are very committed. We are partners, we are together. In my heart, I am already married to her.”

Spratt, who lives in Bengaluru, works in the wellness industry and is the mother of seven-year-old Quinn from a previous marriage. She is also the granddaughter of Philip Spratt, a British-born communist who came to India in the 1920s and later became associated with India’s independence movement.

Aamir was first married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira. She later married film producer Kiran Rao and they have a son, Azad.
