A UI 8 also comes on Galaxy Z Flip5, Z Fold5, Galaxy S23 Series, A55 and A35

A UI 8 rollout continues with the phone from 2024 and 2023. This is happening before the schedule, but now it appears that only equipment in Korea is getting a new OS version.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 (both from 2023) are joining their 2024 Z brothers in Android 16. This is a limited release for now, however, and only the devices that are running the beta version in Korea are looking at a stable update (F946nksu5Fyi). For them, it is just a relatively small update around 420MB.

Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra and S23 Fe are also available on action. If you are updating with a UI 7, it is a heavy 3.2GB update, but if you are driving beta, it is a small 470MB download. It also includes 1 September security patch. S24 Fe received its stable update a few days ago, by the way. Then, it is first hitting the phone in Korea, although it seems that the phone is also looking at it in Vietnam.

We are also seeing reports that Samsung Galaxy A55 and A35 are being updated – again, starting with the Korean version. A55 update (A556sksu6cyi6) is a 1.9GB download. For new models, A36 and A56 received a UI 8 8 a ​​few days ago.

Keep in mind that it is ahead of the schedule – according to Samsung Brazil, the Rolouts for Z Flip5 and Z Fold5, S23 series and A55 were scheduled to begin on 2 October. Therefore, if you are not seeing a UI 8 update notification today, try again in a few days.

In addition to Samsung phone, a UI 8 is also coming to the tablet. The Tab S11 series takes it out of the box, the Galaxy Tab S10+ becomes the first slate to receive it as an update.
