Shatrughan Sinha has shared a new video from Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding. In the clip, the veteran actor-politician and his wife Poonam Sinha are seen performing ‘Kanyadan’ (a Hindu ritual ceremony). Sonakshi and Zaheer got married on June 23 in Mumbai in the presence of their family and close friends.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal were seen holding hands in the viral video of their wedding. The ‘Dabangg’ actor’s parents were seen performing the kanyadaan ritual with their priest. mantra (Spiritual Mantra), On the occasion, in the video going viral, the couple is seen wearing ivory coloured outfits.

Sharing the wedding clip and several such pictures, Sinha wrote, “With gratitude we would like to thank everyone for celebrating our special day with us which appears to be the ‘wedding of the century’ for our darling daughter Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal with your warmth, love, congratulatory messages as they begin a new chapter in the beautiful journey of their lives.”

The couple shared dreamy pictures from their wedding ceremony on June 26. Sharing it, they wrote, “On this day, seven years ago (23.06.2017) we saw love in its purest form in each other’s eyes and decided to hold on. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and victories, leading to this moment where with the blessings of both our families and both our Gods… we are now husband and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all the beautiful things with each other, from now till forever (sic).”

After a seven-year courtship, Sonakshi and Zaheer tied the knot on Sunday.
