Exclusive: Anees Bajmi pulled out of 2 entry 2 to get out of Diljit Dosanj

The announcement of ‘No Entry 2’ released fans both indifferent and excited. The 2005 comedy classic’s sequel Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh were set to set up with a host of female actors. The film was determined to go on the floor in March, but a change in the timeline has left the project in Limbo, with the report that Diljit has supported. It was said that the global star had creative differences with the team, which led him to exit.
However, in a special conversation with India today, director Annis Bajmi confirmed that the issue is more with a creative disagreement with scheduling. He also expressed optimism that the situation could still be resolved.
Addressing the speculation around Diljit’s departure, Bajmi said that when there are “big films, it also makes a big noise”. He further talked about his conversation with the Punjabi superstar, “Diljit is a great actor. He is a very good person. Although I haven’t held many meetings with him, we just met together twice. First when I met him, it was for 10 minutes. I shared him too. I shared him too. His favorite movies, and they have seen it many times.
Praising the actor-singer’s quick decision-making skills, the filmmaker said, “He is a very good person, so simple, and I think he will develop as a great actor. He is also fast and smart. When asked that he had planned to bring the film to the floor, Anees Bajmi said, “Bohot jalal (Soon soon). As soon as we get withdrawal from all, we will start. I am now working on this film for 7-8 years with Boney ji (producer Boney Kapoor). We have seen many ups and downs, but we are on it. I am a person who clings to his commitment. And when there is love, you do not think about loss and profit. You just want to live together and make a food film. And trust me, it’s a beautiful film and a lot of fun.
