Ajay Devgan and Ritish Deshmukh’s raids in Bollywood recently hit theaters and became a hit film. Fans and critics equally praised the performance of the actors. Now, Ritish, who played the role of a opposition in the film, has opened up whether he had ever felt. The actor also called the film ‘Bonus’ and said that he was entitled to more than that.
In an interview with instant Bollywood, Ritish Deshmukh was asked whether he feels less or feels that he has not caused his reason in the industry. He shared that he initially thought that his first film would be his last film. Expressing gratitude, he said that he is more than what he was entitled to, such as even after 22 years in the industry, he is giving an interview.
In addition, calling Raid 2 a bonus, the houseful actor shared, “Jab Vo Hota Hai Acha Kaam Kaam Kaam Karne Ke Baad Bohot Zyada Zyada Zyada Zyada Bonus Mil Jata Hai, Meri Life Ka Wahi Bonus Chal Rahai.” (You know, when this happens that you get a big bonus after doing good work. I am enjoying that bonus in my life, currently).
Meanwhile, Ritish is seen as a corrupt politician who fools the public with his good image. However, when an IRS officer Ajay Devgan comes to his city, he is caught. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the Crime thriller hit theaters on 1 May 2025. It is built by Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.
Earlier, during a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, RAID 2 director Raj Kumar Gupta shared that he wrote a film for a year and a half, even if it was a real-life-based story. He further shared that he tried his best to bring fictional elements into the story.
Talking about Raid 3, the director shared that he had some scripts ready and would take a call about the next part after the release of the second part. Raj expressed his interest in Raid 3 but said that many factors have to be taken care of.
Meanwhile, Ritish Deshmukh may have seen a historic drama in King Shivaji next time. He is not only acting in it, but is also directing and construction under his home banner, Mumbai Film Company in collaboration with Jio Studios. The film is based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Apart from this, they also have Dhamal 4 in the pipeline.
