Aamir Khan rejected the sequel Idea for Jane Tu or Jane Na, the director revealed
The sequel to ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ was rejected by Aamir Khan, director Abbas reveals Tyarula. Despite the fan demand, manufacturers feel that the magic of the origin cannot be rebuilt.

Actor Imran Khan’s first film ,Jane tu or jane na, One of Bollywood’s most loving romantic comedy. In a recent chat on Aamir Khan’s YouTube channel Aamir Khan Talkies, Imran and director Abbas Tirela talked about the film and sequel, which was never made.
Abbas shared that soon after the film was released, he went to Aamir Khan, who produced the film, with an idea for Part 2. Imran also said that people often come to him and demand to know that the sequel is coming. Abbas laughed and said that he gets the same question on Instagram every day.
“This is my Instagram DM every day. Shortly after the release of the film, I went to Aamir with an idea for the sequel – at some point, Jai and Aditi (Imran and Genilia D’Souza characters in the film) fight it. I said to him, ‘When Jai and Aditi are separated, Jai is a party, and said that he said.”
Revealing Aamir’s response, Abbas said, “Aamir said to me,” Never watch this film again. I don’t want to hear anything about the sequel, if the direction you are going in is. ” “I don’t know how to reboot the story. I have not seen them working well.” Imran and Abbas again talked about a reunion ,Jaane tu ya jaane na ‘ Gang over coffee but dismissed the idea of creating a sequel, “Abbas accepted.
Jaane tu ya jaane na tells the story of the best friends Jai and Aditi, who do not feel that they are in love until they start dating other people. The film starred Imran Khan, Genelia D’Suza, Pratic Patil, Manjari Fadnis and Ayaz Khan. It was a major box office success, which was more than Rs 82 crore worldwide. Released in 2008, the film became a huge hit and a loyal fan Aadhaar continues to enjoy the base. Over the years, fans have repeatedly called for a sequel, but now, director Abbas has revealed why this is unlikely to happen.
